- **AI use varies by project**: the provider says it depends on the project or the author.

## Things to know

- The badge is the provider's own answer. Author's Toolbox doesn't test or certify it.
- An honest answer is never a reason for a provider to be declined, so you can expect a range of answers.
- If AI use matters to you, ask the provider directly before you hire them, especially when the badge is **Uses AI in some work** or **AI use varies by project**. Hover over the badge for a reminder.
