What platforms is Author's Toolbox available on?

Author's Toolbox runs in the browser at app.theauthorstoolbox.com. There is nothing to install. Use it on a Mac, a Windows PC, a Chromebook, a tablet, or a phone. What you save on one device is there when you sign in on another.

Where can I see what's new?

A What's New window appears when there is a release, and a short notice appears the first time you open a tool that changed. The full history, newest first and filterable by tool, is the changelog at theauthorstoolbox.com/changelog.

How do I get help, report a bug, or suggest a feature?

On this help center, use the chat bubble in the corner. In the app, open Support and use the form there. While the beta is on, the bug icon at the bottom right opens the same form. Choose Report a Bug, Feature Request, or another type. You can attach screenshots, up to 5 MB each.

Does Author's Toolbox use AI?

Absolutely not. There is no AI anywhere in the app. No models will see your books, your words, your sales, your customers. Nothing will write anything for you. Nothing will proofread anything you write. No AI of any kind in your Toolbox today, and there never will be. Our stance is that being an author is a human thing, and AI doesn't belong in human things.
